STATEMENT
about the work of the Youth Forum of the Maritime Institute of Ukraine
- General Statement
1.1. These Statement regulate the activities of the Youth Forum of the Nautical Institute of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the NIU-YF) as a structural unit of the NIU.
1.2. The NIU-YF is headed by a Head who is elected for a period of 3 years at the annual meeting.
1.3. The NIU-YF is guided by the Code of Ethics of the Youth Forum of the Nautical Institute of Ukraine, which was approved at the NIU Committee meeting dated July 12, 2023 (minutes No. 94).
- Tasks
2.1. Organization, management and monitoring of compliance with the Code of Ethics.
2.2. Conducting quarterly meetings of the NIU-YF to discuss the work plan.
2.3. Formation citizenship and hard work views among cadets in the maritime industry, development of independence and creative activity.
2.4. Formation of high moral and psychological qualities in cadets.
- Contents and structure
3.1. The NIU-YF Committee includes:
- The Head.
- Members of a working group of 5 people.
- One cadet from each presented course of maritime universities, institutes and/or colleges of Ukraine as part of the NIU membership.
3.2. Any student studying full-time at a maritime university, institute and/or college of Ukraine can be a member of the NIU-YF.
3.3. The Head reports to the Honorary secretary of the NIU on the activities of the NIU-YF.
- Functions and interactions
4.1. The NIU-YF is open to interaction with other Youth organizations of the Nautical Institute.
4.2. The NIU-YF ensures interaction with NIU partners in order to more effectively achieve its goals and objectives.
4.3. Every one of the NIU members has the right to provide mentoring in the maritime sphere for the beginner sailor, who are part of the NIU-YF.
- Rights and obligations
5.1. Participation in NIU-YF meetings once a quarter.
5.2. Each member of the NIU-YF should:
- comply with the Code of Ethics of the Youth Forum of the Nautical Institute of Ukraine;
- treat every participant with respect, dignity and courtesy, regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, disability or any other aspect of their identity;
- adhere to the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct;
- strive for excellence in your personal and professional development.
5.3. Each member of the NIU-YF has the right to propose ideas for improving the work of the Forum.
- Responsibility
6.1. Members of the NIU-YF should not engage in any activity that could damage the reputation or interests of the NIU-YF or the Nautical Institute of Ukraine.
6.2. Any violation of the Code of Ethics of the Youth Forum of the Nautical Institute of Ukraine may lead to termination of membership in the NIU.
