Join us in Dubai this year for The Nautical Institute’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Technical Conference 2025.

The AGM will be held at the Dubai International Seafarers Center on 7 May, and the Technical Conference at the World Trade Centre on 8 May.  Together they will form cornerstone events as part of UAE World Maritime Week 2025.

Conference sessions include:

• UAE; a world of maritime skills and opportunities: Celebrating local talent and highlighting career opportunities in the region
• UAE’s role in a greener future: Exploring new technologies in carbon capture, new regulatory standards and training opportunities
• Skills of the future: Updates on The OCEAN Project and MENAS, alongside insights from our upcoming Bridge Resource Management publication.  The Nautical Institute’s contribution in driving professionalism, leadership and innovation in the maritime industry

The UAE Branch of The Nautical Institute’s Gala Charity Dinner follows on 9 May, giving the opportunity for members, visitors and representatives to further support the local maritime community and network with members locally – while supporting charitable causes!
