The Nautical Institute’s South West England Branch will be hosting the AGM for 2020. This important date will include technical content and a number of insightful talks, as well as a chance to network with members from around the world.
You are warmly invited to join The Nautical Institute 2020 AGM & International Conference, hosted by the Institute’s South West England Branch at Plymouth University.
Each year the Nautical Institute combines its AGM with a highly-successful international conference which focuses on promoting safe and professional ship operations.
In 2020 the event returns to Europe and will be focusing on seafarer training in the age of autonomy. This coincides with the celebrations of the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower to America.
Over 100 NI members and other senior maritime professionals are expected to attend this unique gathering.
The event will open with an informal reception and Plymouth Sound boat trip on 1st July. The AGM will take place on 2nd July following the day’s conference, which will resume the next day.
The bookings, programme and speakers will become available in the near future.
